You enjoy spending time outdoors and exploring nature by hiking on amazing trails. Now, you have the opportunity to enhance your hiking experience with an incredible app that allows you to track your hikes, including altitude profiles, add comments, and mark highlights along the way. This app also includes a watch app with HealthKit integration.

All you need is your iPhone or iPad. Simply turn on the tracking mode, and the app will:

<ul>
<li>Record your hike and display it on a map, including flyover views when available.</li>
<li>Automatically sync your data to your iPad and other devices via iCloud.</li>
<li>Stop tracking automatically when you return to your starting point.</li>
<li>Show detailed statistics such as distance, duration, and altitude (for iPhone 6, 6+, and better models).</li>
<li>Provide spoken feedback on key hike parameters and start/stop notifications.</li>
<li>Allow you to drop pins on important waypoints with a long tap on the map, and add descriptions for the hike and each marker.</li>
<li>Display distances in either meters or miles.</li>
<li>Offer widgets for quick access to statistics and altitude information.</li>
</ul>

In addition, the watch app integrates seamlessly with HealthKit. It starts a workout session automatically with each hike, contributing to your activity rings. (This feature can be configured in settings).

If you wish to backup or exchange your hike data, the app allows you to save it to a file that can be opened in another app or shared via email. You can also access your data on a Mac or PC through iTunes file sharing. The app supports GPX data format for convenient exchange with other apps.

To ensure optimal GPS signal reception, the app includes a screen that displays current GPS measures (position, altitude, accuracy). It's important to note that continued use of GPS running in the background may drain your battery. However, this app protects your battery life by automatically turning off GPS at the end of your hike and limiting overall tracking time (configurable in settings).
